What Will The Retreat Be Like?
This retreat is like no other, we will gather during the middle of two eclipses on the spring equinox in the Northern hemisphere – the start of the Mayan solar calendar.
We will be harnessing the power of these eclipses allowing you the opportunity to navigate deep into the layers of your personality, to clearly see your polarities, the dark and the light within, allowing you to integrate the light and shadow. This is some of the most powerful work you will ever take part in – the acceptance and assimilation of ALL of your Self.
We will sit in silence, in ceremony and meditation, in different locations, some of the MOST sacred, energy potent places on the planet – to be present with what IS, to observe all of your soul’s beautiful colours. Using the Mayan traditional plant medicines and rituals you will have the ultimate experience of what it means to be YOU – AND what you are here to be, do and the impact you are here to create.
This powerful spiritual work may reemerge old, deep wounds and patterns that have caused entropy in your present life. Why Do This Work With Me In Mexico?
I am Paty Walliz, or ‘Pepem,’ my Mayan name that means butterfly.
I arrived in this wonderful world in this sacred land of Yucatán, one of the most special energetic points on the planet.
From a young age, I have always sought answers that led me to a strong commitment to my spiritual path. My maternal grandmother was a pillar in my initiation into spirituality.
My paternal grandmother planted the seed of wisdom from my origins and lineage of the Mayan culture in me. She shared with me the arts of the Mayan cacao blends and the wisdom of Mayan Cosmovision.
I am passionate about the power of nature and our human biology.
I am a mother of two boys, aged 11 and 13.
I have been a spiritual truth seeker for over 35 years, learning from various traditions and teachers in different territories across Europe, Asia, and North Africa.
I am currently embracing the ancient land of Australia.
I am a Moon Dancer and a second word in the medicine council of the Lunar Dance U K’iinam Uj, “The Spirit of the Moon,” from the midlands of the Mayan Tradition.
I am a student of the mystery of ancient traditions, specifically the tradition of my ancestors, Mayan cosmovision, ancient feminine arts, and deep Mesoamerican wisdom through the guardians of wisdom and the elders of the Mayan tradition.

- Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce from ITESM
- Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Health Sciences from Quantum University of Hawaii
- Diploma in Phytotherapy and Traditional Herbalism from the Atlachinolli Center in Texcoco
- Certification as a Master in Neurolinguistic Programming by John Grinder
- Student of Neuroscience under the teachings of Dr. Amit Goswami and Dr. Joe Dispenza
- Practitioner of the IRECA Cosmic Energy Method, Life Quality Project, Italy
Other Projects:
Today, my creative power manifests through Surfing Butterfly in Australia, which produces and promotes herbal synergies that integrate physical, emotional, and energetic health, bringing rituals into daily life and fostering the remembrance of our origins.
I also create and facilitate international retreats and circles of “The Remembrance,” integrating rituals of connection with the Earth and our physical bodies, held in Australia, Mexico, and next year in the United Kingdom as well.
I am currently the founder of the movement “The Earth Within Me,” which promotes the activation of our creative source through pelvic breathing, conscious movement, and rituals of connection with the Earth.

Getting There..
Travel Considerations:
Travel insurance is required for your own protection and safety.
If you arrive in Cancun, you will need to take a bus to Merida (approximately 5 hours).
Bus stations are in; Cancun Airport, Cancun Centre, and Playa del Carmen.
If you come from Australia or Europe we highly advise that you arrive two days prior the immersion start date to recover from the Jetlag.
We will collect all guests from their hotels around Merida centre and Merida bus station (Came) at the retreat start time (tbd).
