On the sacred day of Waqib’ Ajaw — 6 Ajaw, we enter the Temazcal in honour of Father Sun and the Great Creative Fire, the primordial flame from which life emerges. 🔥☀️
At the Equinox, when light and darkness meet in balance, Ajaw invites us to tend the sacred fire within, illuminate our path, and remember the strength that carries us through times of transformation.
Waqib’ — Tone 6 — carries the pulse of rhythm, equilibrium and continuity. It reminds us that balance is not stillness, but a living rhythm: the movement between light and darkness, giving and receiving, beginning and becoming.
It invites us to ask:
🔥 Where does my strength come from?
🔥 What inner flame am I choosing to keep alive?
🔥 What rhythm am I choosing to bring back into balance?
Through fire, steam, prayer and sacred tobacco, we offer our gratitude to the Great Ajaw and pray for clarity, balance, strength and renewed purpose.
Together, we enter the womb of Mother Earth not to fear transformation, but to consciously welcome it.

Our ceremony will begin with a sacred fire altar in honour of the Nawal of the Sun Kinich Ahaw. followed by the Temazcal journey guided by ancestral prayer, offerings, and the wisdom of the First Elders.
Held by the fire and the spirit of the Grandmothers, this experience becomes a return to the essential: a remembering of who we are beneath the noise, beneath the fragmentation, beneath the imbalance.
This is a space to release, realign, and rebirth.
