WOMB WALKS

A Sacred Women’s Retreat in
The Bunya Mountains

womb walk

An intimate journey for women called to walk the path of remembrance, creation, and deep feminine embodiment.

Sister,

Join us for a sacred living prayer as we walk with the primordial waters, the ancient trees, and the deep root networks of the earth.

This is a 2-day, 2-night immersive retreat into one of the most ancient and spiritually significant landscapes in Queensland, the breathtaking Bunya Mountains. Rising above the surrounding plains, these mountains are often called a “sky island,” where cool rainforest ecosystems thrive high above the warmer lowlands below.

Walking through the Dreamtime is a journey of remembrance, a weaving into an ancient forest sanctuary where the majestic Bunya pines, descendants of primordial Gondwanan forests, have stood for millions of years.

The mountains themselves were formed through volcanic activity around 30 million years ago, while the rainforest lineages they protect are far older. The sacred Bunya pines are considered living relics from the age of the dinosaurs, carrying the memory of a time when Australia was still connected to Antarctica and South America within the ancient supercontinent of Gondwana.

A Journey Home

This retreat is an invitation to return home to the sacred intelligence of your womb, your body, your heart, and the earth.

Together, we will remember the ancient ways,  where women walked barefoot with reverence, wove songs into the soil, and listened deeply to the whispers of the land.

These forests carry a timeless presence. To walk among them is to enter a living prayer, where ancient botanical lineages and the wisdom of the earth continue to breathe through every tree, stream, and stone.

We gather to remember that we are earth women, and that the living codes of creation pulse through our bodies. Our wombs,  sacred cauldrons of life,  hold deep wisdom, nourished by the intelligence of the heart.

As we bring presence to this inner altar, we begin to release generational pain and awaken our innate capacity to create, feel, heal, and transform.

Every gesture becomes prayer.
Every breath becomes remembrance.
Every step becomes a ripple of awakening for the collective.

Full Moon Pilgrimage

Under the Full Moon, we gather during a powerful energetic getaway  associated with revelation, purification, courage, and the liberation from suffering.

Our journey begins at sunset atop Mount Kingaroy, where we will offer prayers to the land, honour the Traditional Custodians of the region, the Waka Waka nation, the first elders,  and sit in ceremony with the mountains themselves.

Surrounded by the ancient grass trees standing silently across the ranges, we will wait for the rising Full Moon, presenting our prayers, our intentions, and our willingness to shed old layers of ourselves as we prepare to walk with presence and impeccability through the depths of the Bunya rainforest.

Walking the Path of Dreamtime

On Saturday, we begin our 10km pilgrimage through the heart of the Bunya Mountains.

Crossing beneath towering Bunya pines and ancient rainforest canopies, we will attune ourselves to the vibration of the land and open to the messages carried through the trees, waters, stones, and winds.

Through movement, drum beats, prayer, voice, silence, and the wisdom of the heart, we will create a living altar together.

We will honour the four great elemental altars of the mountain,  the waters, the trees, the earth, and the mycelial root networks that weave life beneath the forest floor.
